New Delhi: Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, is hospitalised in Shimla. The 59-year-old Congress chief is at present stationed on the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC) in Shimla. According to studies, the chief minister needed to be hospitalised on account of a abdomen an infection. Doctors on the hospital say the chief minister’s well being situation is now steady, as per studies.

“Due to a stomach infection, CM Sukhu was admitted to Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC). The ultrasound report is normal and his health condition is stable. We have done his all medical examination and the reports are normal,” Dr Rahul Rao, Medical Superintendent, IGMC, Shimla, mentioned.

Reports say the Himachal CM needed to be hospitalised late Wednesday evening.

Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s hospitalisation comes solely days after he was seen watching the India versus New Zealand World Cup cricket match in Dharamshala together with political rivals BJP’s Anurag Thakur, JP Nadda and Jai Ram Thakur. Sukhu was seen sitting between JP Nadda and Anurag Thakur. At the time, PTI had quoted the Himachal CM saying: “The event is a testament to our nation’s fervour for sport.”

A four-time MLA from Nadaun Assembly constituency, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s rise in Himachal politics was a really rags-to-riches story. His father was a driver with the Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation and his mom was a hommemaker.

Earlier this yr, the Himachal CM’s deputy, Mukesh Agnihotri needed to be hospitalised after he slipped and fell close to his residence and sustained a head damage. This occurred on March 30. He was instantly rushed to IGMC-Shimla for therapy.
