Indian Air Force to host ‘Mumbai Air Show 2024’ at Marine Drive immediately | Mumbai News

The Indian Air Force, in collaboration with the Government of Maharashtra, will probably be internet hosting an aerial show in Mumbai from January 12 to January 14, 2024, between 12 pm to 1 pm over Marine Drive.

The ‘Mumbai Air Show 2024’ is a part of the Indian Air Force’s outreach program, aimed toward constructing consciousness and strengthening the connection between the Air Force and the local people, a defence official was quoted saying by information company PTI.

The one-hour-long aerial show will spotlight the abilities, capabilities, and professionalism of the Indian Air Force by fascinating shows and demonstrations.

The occasion will characteristic aerobatic performances by the Suryakiran Aerobatic Display Team and the ‘Sarang’ Helicopter show group, in addition to a spread of aerial actions together with flypasts, low-level aerobatic shows by the Su-30 MKI, and freefall and parachute shows by the ‘Akashganga’ group and C-130 plane.

This initiative seeks to interact and encourage the general public by bringing the Indian Air Force nearer to the neighborhood by thrilling aerial spectacles.

Traffic Advisory issued by the Mumbai Traffic Police:

In view of the ‘Mumbai Air Show 2024’ the Mumbai visitors Police has made visitors preparations which will probably be in place from 9 am to five pm on thirteenth & 14th January:

👉 N.S Road North Bound will stay closed for all sorts of vehicular visitors besides emergency automobiles continuing each bounds from N.C.P.A Girgaum Chowpatty.

👉 Girgaum Chowpatty (Vinoly Chowpatty) to NCPA/Hutatma Rajguru Chowk (Mantralaya Junction) will probably be closed for all sorts of automobiles as per requirement.

👉 North sure Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk (Chruchgate Jucntion) to Kilachand Chowk (Sunder Mahal Junction) will stay closed for all sorts of automobiles.

👉 Via Dinshaw Vacha Road – North sure from by way of Chowk to Ratanlal Babuna Chowk (Marine plaza Junction) will probably be closed for all sorts of automobiles.

👉Madamcama Road: North sure stay closed from all kinds of automobiles from Hutatma Rajguru Chowk (Mantralaya Junction) to Venutal Chavan Chowl (Air India Junction)

👉 Barrister Rajni Patel Marg: Free Press Journal Junction to N S Road will probably be closed for all sorts of automobiles.

Meanwhile, two runways of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj InternationalAirport can even stay closed from 12 pm to 1 pm on January 13, 14 in view of the Mumbai Air Show.

“Passengers are urged to verify their scheduled flights with their respective airlines before heading to the airport during these days,” the CSMIA posted on X.
