Step-By-Step Recipe of Ajwaini Paneer

Ingredients –

200 gms paneer, cubed
2 tomatoes
1 onion, chopped
1 green chilli, chopped
Half tsp ajwain
1 tbsp curd
Half inch ginger, chopped
4-5 cloves of garlic, chopped
Half tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tbsp lime juice
Coriander leaves for garnishing

Method –

Step 1 – Crush ajwain seeds to powder them. Make a puree of tomatoes and ginger.
Step 2 – Heat ghee in a pan. Saute onion, green chilli and garlic.
Step 3 – Add tomato puree, salt, ajwain powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Cook the puree till it starts leaving oil.
Step 4 – Now add curd and saute for a minute. Add some water and let it boil.
Step 5 – Add paneer cubes and garam masala and mix well.
Step 6 – Turn off the stove. Add lemon juice, garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
