In global markets, gold prices moved higher today after a stable previous day session. Spot gold rose by 0.77% to 1971.0$ Gold per Troy ounce. This price level is 7.07% higher than average gold price observed in the past 30 days ($1831.6). Among other precious metals, silver prices edged higher today. Silver gained 0.7% to $23.7 per Troy ounce.

Further, platinum price has shown an uptick. The precious metal platinum rose 0.44% to $911.0 per Troy ounce. Meanwhile in India, gold was priced at Rs. 53452.0 per 10 gram on MCX, with a change of Rs. 470.38. Also, the price of 24k gold in the Indian spot market was quoted at Rs. 52110.0 .

On MCX, gold futures prices in India showed an upsurge of 0.88% to Rs. 53452.0 per 10 gram. In the previous session, gold was down 0.42% or about Rs. 470.38 per 10 gram. On MCX, silver futures grew nearly 1.57% or Rs. 1000.67 per kg to the price level of Rs. 63737.0 per kg.

The gold spot price today (Rs. 52110.0) increased by Rs. 470.38 from yesterday (Rs. 52100.0), along with global spot prices growth of $15.0 to $1971.0 value today. Similar trend was observed in MCX future price with an increase of Rs. 470.38 and value of Rs. 53452.0 as of today.
