In a horrific incident, an Indian 22-year-old youth allegedly beheaded his youthful sister on Friday morning for her relationship with a person of the identical group in Mithwara village of UP’s Barabanki district, practically 50 km from Lucknow. The accused, Riyaz, was arrested and booked below IPC Section 302 (homicide), mentioned Barabanki police.

Locals alerted cops when the youth was strolling down the road holding his sister’s severed head. The accused surrendered earlier than the cops with none resistance and confessed to his crime, mentioned DK Singh, SP (Barabanki). The sufferer was recognized as Aashifa, 18.

During interrogation, the youth instructed cops he was upset as his sister was in a relationship with one Chand Babu of the identical group from her village. Aashifa had even eloped together with her lover up to now, after which her father registered a grievance on this regard, mentioned Singh.

Babu was despatched to jail and Aashifa was handed over to members of the family as she was a minor then, he added.

The accused instructed cops that his sister was once more creating a mushy nook for Chand Babu, resulting from which members of the family confronted social humiliation. “Riyaz beheaded his sister with a sharp-edged weapon in his house after a spat with her over the issue.
