India’s capital markets regulator could ask the nation’s high court docket to offer it extra time to complete its investigation into short-seller Hindenburg Research’s allegations towards billionaire Gautam Adani’s conglomerate, the Business Standard reported, citing folks it didn’t title.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India was to file a standing report back to the Supreme Court May 2, in line with the report. The regulator didn’t reply to a request for remark, it mentioned.
