WAUSAUKEE, Wis. — The North Central football team had to travel a bit further afield after a cancellation by Forest Park, but they found an opponent in Wausaukee Friday.

The Jets left Wausaukee in the dust with a 54-6 non-conference victory.

North Central (3-0) launched off the starting line, notching 28 points in the first quarter and holding the Rangers (1-1) scoreless to give itself a large cushion and essentially seal the game.

Wausakee added six points in the second, but it wasn’t enough to stem the Jets’ 14-point tide.

After halftime, North Central learned from its mistake and shut down the Rangers while adding 12 points to finish the game.

North Central is currently looking for an opponent for next week.
