Mumbai: S.S. Rajamouli’s much-awaited film ‘RRR’ is all set to hit the silver screens on January 7, 2022. The period action drama has been making waves ever since the project was announced. The movie will star Jr. NTR and Ram Charan in the respective roles of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju. 

‘RRR’ Release Date Out 

The highly anticipated flick, which also stars Alia Bhatt, will arrive in the cinema halls next year. The film was originally slated to release in October 2021; however, it got delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis. 

The makers of the film have shared a new poster to reveal the release date. The intriguing poster features Charan, NTR, Alia and Ajay Devgn.

“Experience India’s Biggest Action Drama, #RRRMovie in theatres worldwide on 7th Jan 2022,” the caption on the official Instagram handle of ‘RRR’ read.

‘RRR’ To Release A Day After ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’

Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, which has been directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is releasing on January 6, 2022. The biographical drama will be the first Hindi film to release in the theatres in 2022. ‘RRR’ will entertain the audience from January 7, a day after ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ arrives in the cinema halls.

Ajay Devgn To Make Debut In South Cinema 

The ‘Bhuj: Pride Of India’ star will foray into South cinema with ‘RRR’. The makers have managed to keep the details about his character under wraps. Alia Bhatt is also making her debut in South films with Rajamouli’s movie.

Ajay also posted the new poster on Instagram along with the caption, “07.01.2022. See you at Cinemas!! Get ready to experience India’s Biggest Action Drama in cinemas worldwide.”

‘RRR’ Cast

The highly anticipated flick also stars Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody in supporting roles. Rajeev Kanakala and Shriya Saran are also rumoured to be part of the film.
