Established in the year 2008, by a visionary leader, Philanthropist & Educationalist, Shri Kommuri Pratap Reddy Garu, Kommuri Pratap Reddy Institute of Technology (KPRIT) provides a peaceful learning environment in an eco friendly campus of 22 acres.
KPRIT accreditated by NAAC and NBA, and ranks 110th position in All India by (Times Engineering Survey) published on 31st July 2020 by OMS( a division of Times Internet Limited), a research by Market Xcel Data Matrix Pvt, Ltd. KPRIT CSE and ECE programs got accreditated by NBA. Additionally, It comes in at an All India 122nd Rank by a survey conducted by the prestigious WEEK magazine.
KPRIT offers the Undergraduate Program, B.Tech in the following streams
1. Computer Science and Engineering- (CSE) – 180 seats.
2. Computer Science and Engineering- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (CSE-AI&ML) – 90 seats.
3. Computer Science and Engineering- Data Science (CSE-DS) – 60 seats.
4. Electronics and Communication Engineering- (ECE) – 60 seats.
5. Civil Engineering – 30 seats.
The highly qualified and experienced faculties at KPRIT implement innovative teaching methodologies with digitally acclaimed class rooms and integration of the latest teaching aids along with state of the art laboratories providing experiential learning. Notably, KPRIT has started a SEED Program – (Student Empowerment and Entrepreneur Development) which focuses on training students in technical and interpersonal skills from their first year onwards itself. Culminating in a certification exam offered by IIT Bombay through their Spoken Tutorial program at the end of each semester and ensuring that the students graduating as industry ready professionals.
Additionally, KPRIT also partnered with COURSERA with certifications being made available in various leading technologies like Python, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Internet of Things etc. from various Top Universities of the world. KPRIT is also a recognized remote centre of IIT Bombay regularly conducting workshops and hands on sessions with emerging technologies. Recently KPRIT also partnered with Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) Government of India for outreach programs through e-learning platform. KPRIT also partnered with University of Central Missouri USA, University of Bridge Port USA for student and faculty exchange programs.
At KPRIT, expert talks, guest lectures by renowned professors from IIT, NITs, JNTUH, OU etc., along with workshops, technical symposiums, industrial visits etc. and a range of extra- Curricular activities and Co-curricular activities are provided to the students with participation being encouraged at institutional level.
KPRIT Large campus is equipped with free W-Fi and a spacious library with huge classification of books, National and International Journals. It also provides residential facilities for both boys and girls along with a Gymnasium.
