About the temple: The BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham temple, which sits on a vast 126-acre property, is a part of the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha, a worldwide spiritual and civic group affiliated with the Swaminarayan sect.
