India-based agency Larsen & Toubro has secured an order to construct a 75 MW floating photo voltaic park undertaking on the Panchet Dam in Jharkhand, India.
The floating photo voltaic undertaking on the Panchet Dam is part of the Ultra Mega Renewable Energy Power Bank (UMREPP) being developed on Damodar Valley company reservoirs in Jharkhand and West Bengal.
The UMREPP, an Indian authorities initiative, goals to advertise the event of recent and clear power initiatives.
The agency can also be set to ship turnkey building of a 380 kV substation in Saudi Arabia and has received substation and voltage substation conversion orders from hydrocarbon firms in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Aside from that, Larsen & Toubro has obtained a further order for an ongoing 220 kV energy provide undertaking within the UAE.
The information comes as India is seeking to develop 4 floating solar energy vegetation on 4 dams. Namely, SJVN Green Energy (SGEL), a part of India’s state-owned energy firm SJVN, recently submitted a proposal to the Goa state authorities for the event of 4 floating solar energy vegetation.
With an estimated funding of round INR 1300 Crore (roughly $156.4 million), this undertaking goals to supply 190 MW of electrical energy.
