In celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day within the United States, members of the Portland State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) wrote letters to the longer term ladies in sports activities. The letters provided recommendation, recounted private experiences, and shared hopes for the way forward for ladies in sports activities.

Dear Future Women in Sports,

First off, I would like you to know that everybody belongs in sports activities. This group is unmatched in that every one persons are welcomed and celebrated.
