The Pontiac-based non-profit Lighthouse had to cancel it’s annual Rent Party fundraiser due to pandemic in June, but it’s pivoted to a Virtual Rent Party, taking place at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, live on the organization’s Facebook page from the former Stanley Kresge Estate in Detroit’s Arden Park-East Boston Historic District. Jazz pianist Mike Jellick will perform, and donations will be encouraged to help Lighthouse continue its work helping the underprivileged.  lighthousemi.org.
