The 1981-82 group was a tone-setting group for the last decade of dominance, with a report of 24-2.

The Admirals gained 19 consecutive video games, a faculty report. Admiral King was ranked third within the closing AP state ballot of the season and was topped champions of the Buckeye Conference.

2019 Lorain Sports Hall of Fame inductee Roger Smith led the Admiral King in scoring as a junior, previous to taking part in for Ohio University.
He averaged 16.3 factors per recreation in faculty and set the college report with 159 assists in a season. Smith additionally led the Admirals with 98 steals.
