The 23-year-old from Bangalore joins the Indian workforce after a powerful rise by way of the FIA single-seater pathway during the last seven years.

Starting in Italian F4 again in 2016, Maini has subsequently loved success in British Formula 3, the Formula Renault Eurocup, FIA Formula 3 and, at current, competes in FIA Formula 2 and scored his first podium in Melbourne, Australia earlier this 12 months.

Maini, a protégé of two-time Formula 1 champion Mika Hakkinen will work carefully with Edoardo Mortara and Nyck de Vries, and carefully together with fellow Reserve Driver, Jordan King.
