A person was fatally shot at Overtime Sports Bar and Grill on Notre Dame Avenue at roughly 10:30 p.m. Friday.

At round midnight, Greater Sudbury Police Service tweeted that there was a heavy police presence within the space and a K9 observe was underway.

As of the most recent replace at roughly 5 a.m., police indicated the shooter fled and had but to be situated. 

Anyone on the bar on the time of the incident or has info or video that may help within the investigation is requested to telephone police at 705-675-9171. 

Meanwhile, Overtime Sports Bar and Grill issued a Facebook submit this morning saying they are going to be closed this morning to “provide any assistance required during this difficult time.”
