LIVE MARKET UPDATE: Benchmark indices mirrored trends in Asian markets and posted solid gains on Thursday. The frontline S&P BSE Sensex soared 576 points, or 0.97 per cent, at 59,766 levels in early deals today led by Titan Company (up 9 per cent), IndusInd Bank, Asian Paints, M&M, SBI, Reliance Industries, and ICICI Bank.
It’s NSE counterpart Nifty50, meanwhile, advanced 168 points to quote at 17,814. In the broader markets, the BSE MidCap and SmallCap indices rallied 1 per cent and 1.3 per cent, respectively.
