NEW DELHI: Maserati on Monday unveiled the all-new Trofeo collection over a global digital event. The Trofeo collection is achieves the pinnacle of performance, sportiness and luxury.
The 2021 Trofeo consists of the upgraded Maserati Ghibli, Quattroporte and the Levante. Each of these luxury cars have been given some specific upgrades inside-out. The Trofeo collection highlights the carmaker’s all-Italian identity as the exclusive colour schemes represent the Italian flag- green for Quattroporte, white for Levante and red for the Ghibli.
The 2021 Maserati Ghibli has seen a major change under its hood. For the first time, the Ghibli will be powered by a 3.8-litre V8 engine that churns out 588 PS of power and offers a peak torque of 730 Nm. The 3799cc engine of the Ghibli offers a top speed of 326 kmph and it can clock 0-100 4.3 seconds. The luxury sports sedan offers a rear-wheel drive powertrain.

The 2021 Maserati Quattroporte is also powered by the new 3799cc 3.8-litre V8 engine. The Quattroporte also churns out 588 PS of power and offers a peak torque of 730 Nm. The sedan offers a top-speed of 326 kmph. With a rear-wheel drive powertrain, this luxury sedan can clock 0-100 kmph in 4.5 seconds.

The 2021 Maserati Levante is powered by a V8 twin-turbo engine. The crossover coupe gets a massive upgrade under the hood as the engine can generate a maximum power output of 588 PS and offer a peak torque of 730 Nm as well. The 2021 Levante comes with an all-wheel drive powertrain and offers a top speed of 302 kmph.

Each of the Maserati cars in the Trofeo collection have been designed to perfection. The designers have seen to it that the exceptional performance is complemented by striking looks. Each of the cars will have distinct design features like the Ghibli gets the new boomerang shaped LED taillamps and the Levante gets a dark chrome base to stand out on the roads. Each of the cars in the Trofeo collection have an Italian flag on the b-pillars to emphasize their authenticity. The unmistakable detailing on the interiors give the cars an extremely elite look.
Andrea Bertolini, the official test driver at Maserati, believes that these trident cars are the fastest ones ever produced and features like the new Corsa mode and the launch control feature make sure that the cars give an exceptional driving experience on the race tracks too.
The ADAS system has evolved to include new functions, and thanks to Active Driving Assist the assisted driving function can now be activated on urban roads and ordinary highways.
Few more updates regarding the Trofeo collection is expected in a few more weeks. And with the announcement, Maserati India commenced the bookings for the Trofeo collection from Monday.
