BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Boston University men’s basketball team will appear in a minimum of two Patriot League games on the CBS Sports Network during the regular season, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.

Led by 11th-year head coach Joe Jones, the Terriers will open the league’s CBS Sports Network package on Monday, Jan. 10, with a visit to American at 7 p.m. The contest will mark the first meeting between the two programs since BU overcame an 18-point first-half deficit to defeat the Eagles, 64-60, in front of a national TV audience at Case Gym on Feb. 23, 2020. The thrilling victory started a four-game home win streak that included two PL tournament wins en route to the conference title.

BU will return to the CBS Sports Network on Monday, Jan. 31, when it hosts in-state conference rival Holy Cross at 7 p.m. The home matchup was originally announced for Wednesday, Feb. 2, but has been pushed up to accommodate the TV schedule. The two squads faced off six times this past winter and will battle for the first time on the CBS Sports Network since 2019 when the Terriers rolled to a 70-60 road victory. Senior Jonas Harper drained a personal-best six 3-pointers to finish with a career-high 22 points.

There will be two men’s basketball flex games with the first on Saturday, Feb. 19. The second flex game will be on the final day of the Patriot League regular season on Saturday, Feb. 26. The selection of flex contests will be made no later than 10 days before the date of the competition. BU will be on the road at Colgate and Bucknell those two weekends.

The CBS Sports Network will also broadcast both PL semifinal matchups on Sunday, March 6 and then the title game for the 11th consecutive season on Wednesday, March 9.

Overall, the PL enters into its 19th consecutive year in partnership with CBS Sports Network, which is widely available through all major cable, satellite and telco distributors as well as via OTT streaming service providers YouTube TV, fuboTV and Hulu. Additionally, a live CBS Sports Network stream is available through CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports App by authenticating with select providers.
