A gala night of leisure will headline the birthday celebrations on Saturday July 22.

The program contains the hit present Sisters Doing It For Themselves that includes the Sister Act soundtracks dwell on stage.

A post-show cocktail celebration, with dwell music and a dessert bar, will carry celebrations into the night. Tickets are $79.

The milestone celebrations start on Tuesday, July 4 with two performances of the kids’s play Are We There Yet? at 12pm and a pair of:30pm.

Tickets are $15 and embrace a sausage sizzle picnic on the garden between exhibits.

Mayor Darren Power stated the Logan Entertainment Centre had turn out to be one of many metropolis’s hottest items of neighborhood infrastructure.

“I remember that when the Entertainment Centre was built in 2002, it was a big step forward for the city,” Cr Power stated.

“It made arts and leisure accessible in Logan. Residents not wanted to enter Brisbane to see among the massive touring exhibits.

“Since then, the LEC has been very well supported and utilised, not just for entertainment but for important events like our Volunteer Awards, Sports Awards, citizenship ceremonies and local school events.”

Lifestyle Chair Councillor Tony Hall is wanting ahead to celebrating the historic LEC milestone.

“The LEC has an impressive history of delivering fantastic performances and community events,” Cr Hall stated.

“It will be great for the city to come together in July to celebrate an iconic Logan venue in typical Entertainment Centre fashion – with a great show and lots of fun.”

Division 2 Councillor Teresa Lane encourages residents from throughout the town to become involved within the celebrations.

“It’s a brilliant opportunity to celebrate a venue that has brought so much joy and laughter to the entire community. The program has something for everyone,” Cr Lane stated.
