A 13-year-old boy was sexually assaulted by two minors in Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh district. The two accused, both minors, threatened the victim and gave him Rs 20 to not disclose the crime.

A 13-year-old boy was sexually assaulted by two minors in Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh district.

The incident took place in Lodha area of Aligarh district on Thursday, according to a report by The Times of India.

According to the report, the victim’s father said he had sent his son to a local market to buy some agriculture equipment. The two accused, both minors, had accompanied the victim to the market. However, the two accused took him to a nearby jungle and sexually assaulted him.

They later threatened the victim to not disclose the crime and gave him Rs 20 to keep mum about the incident.

However, after the victim reached home, his family learnt about the crime and later informed the police.

A case has now been registered against the two accused and further probe is underway.

The victim’s father, in his complaint, stated that the two accused were known to his family. He told police that when his wife went to complain to the parents of the two accused about the crime, they refused to hear about the incident.
