Keith Hamer makes Tis Marvellous his best bet of the day on Monday – he has a selection for every race in the UK and Ireland.

Tis Marvellous takes a break from doing battle with the best sprinters in the business to tackle the EBF Stallions Prestwold Conditions Stakes at Leicester.

The move by trainer Clive Cox can work the oracle for the six-year-old, who steps out of the Group company for the first time this term.

His seasonal debut could not have been more daunting as he faced Battaash in the King’s Stand Stakes, but he was not disgraced in coming home fourth in the five-furlong Group One at Royal Ascot.

He followed that with a creditable fourth in the Coral Charge at Sandown won by A’Ali, and found six furlongs too far when seventh to Tabdeed in the Hackwood Stakes at Newbury. Back to his best trip of five furlongs, Tis Marvellous can live up to his name.

Shady McCoy has been in the form of his life, with two wins from three starts this summer.

The 10-year-old won cosily at Sandown, and a 4lb penalty is unlikely to stop Ian Williams’ gelding following up in the Join Racing TV Now Handicap.

A small investment may be in order on House Deposit in division two of the Bodie Hodges Foundation Apprentice Handicap.

The four-year-old, switched back to Declan Carroll’s yard this summer, continues to run consistently at this level.

Monsieur Patat landed a first career victory over this six furlongs three weeks ago, and can repeat the trick in the Zupermann Autospares Handicap at Windsor.

The three-year-old, trained by Robyn Brisland, has gone up 6lb for that success but remains open to more improvement – with just four races under his belt.

Mister Dependable came as close has he has ever done to opening his account last time, and can finally come good at the 13th attempt in the Betway Apprentice Handicap at Lingfield.

Tony Carroll’s four-year-old failed by only a neck to get the better of Crystal Carole over a mile at Windsor.

This slightly shorter trip will pose no problem, and it could well be his day.

Brenner Pass can reap the benefit of an encouraging first run for 289 days to get off the mark in the Betway Novice Median Auction Stakes.

Lack of race fitness appeared to cost Richard Hughes’ three-year-old second place behind Summit Fever on his reappearance over this course and distance a month ago.

There will be no such excuse this time, and he should out up a bold show.

Caius Marcius can give weight all round in the Keep Your Distance Handicap Chase at Perth.

In the care of Nicky Richards, the nine-year-old has been gradually coming to the boil – with placed efforts at Market Rasen and Southwell, both over hurdles.

Those two races will have sharpened him up, and he is sure to be primed for the switch back to fences, over which he is a four-time winner.
