The Metropolitan Opera continues to dig into its vaults for its nightly streaming series. This weekend’s offerings include Verdi’s “Falstaff” from 1992, Strauss’s “Der Rosenkavalier” from 2010 and Puccini’s “La Fanciulla del West” from 2018 — all 7:30 p.m. via metopera.org and MET Opera on Demand social apps. The Michigan Opera Theatre offers a pre-show talk about “Falstaff” at 7 p.m. Friday via its Facebook page. More details at motopera.org. The MET will also present an archival performance of Wagner’s “Der fliegende Hollander (The Flying Dutchman)” as part of the “Great Performances” series at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 26, on PBS (Detroit Public Television, Channel 56, or check local listings).
