The Maharaja Sayajirao University will host a two-day Youth20 (Y20) India Summit Saturday with deal with the theme of local weather change and environmental conservation.

The convention, to be inaugurated by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, will see over 600 delegates from 62 international locations take part to debate ‘Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction: Making sustainability a Way of Life’.

Organised by the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to mark the celebration of India’s G20 Presidency, 167 delegates from G20 nations, eight worldwide students, 12 nationwide students, 25 worldwide delegates, 25 nationwide delegates, 25 representatives of Youth Ministry, 50 start-ups engaged on atmosphere, 15 Shodh students, 10 NSS members and 250 college students of varied universities from the sphere of city planning, local weather change and atmosphere research take part within the discussions.

On Friday, Union Ministry of Youth Affairs Secretary Meeta Lochan arrived at MSU to supervise the preparations. Four plenary periods have been lined up in the course of the worldwide convention.

On Friday, the delegation of members additionally went round Vadodara metropolis for a heritage stroll.
