As many as 48 faculties in Bengaluru acquired bomb threats by way of e mail on Friday morning, forcing authorities to evacuate the scholars for checks by the anti-sabotage and bomb squads of town police, a senior police official stated. “Certain schools in Bengaluru city have received emails today morning indicating ‘bomb threat’. Anti sabotage and bomb detection squads have been pressed into service to verify and ascertain. The calls seem to be hoax. Even then all efforts will be made to trace the culprits,” he posted on X (previously generally known as Twitter).
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has directed police officers to hold out an intensive investigation into the bomb threats acquired by faculties.

We are evaluating the threat but for safety kids go home,” the varsity message stated.
On April 8, 2022, as many as 16 faculties in Bengaluru acquired hoax bomb risk emails between 11 am and a couple of.30 pm.
