As the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Forensic Medical Board has ruled out any murder angle to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case in its report on Saturday, reacting on the same findings of the team, the Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh stated that some people having “vested interest” criticized the initial investigation of the Maharashtra police without having any knowledge about the case.

He quoted to PTI, “Without knowing anything about our investigation and without having seen our report some vested interests criticized our investigation. We all stand vindicated by these findings of AIIMS.”

Earlier, a Bandra police officer who was part of the original probe told TOI, “There were strong speculation and theories were floated. But, the AIIMS report has backed our probe, and also the autopsy was done by five doctors at Cooper Hospital.”

Today, the late actor’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti tweeted with a strong message that read, “Eyes on CBI’. Her tweet reads: “The test of faith is when you can stay strong and unshaken during the testing time… I urge my extended family to have faith in God and pray from all your heart… Pray that the truth comes out. #AllEyesOnCBI.”
