MUMBAI: Security was beefed up near Antilia, the residence of industrialist Mukesh Ambani, on Monday, after a taxi driver informed the Mumbai police control room about two suspicious men who asked him the address of Antilia, said a senior police official.
The duo had asked him about the address at 1 pm.
The police officer further said that the taxi driver told cops that two men, who had come in a Wagon R, stopped near the Azad Maidan, where they asked him about the Antilia address.
“As per the taxi driver’s version, he told the duo to search the address in an App. They told him that they didn’t have App. Later, they left,” said the officer.

The police are getting more information from the taxi driver about the two men.

The cops are scanning all the CCTV cameras to find out more about the two persons.
This happened months after a car laden with explosives was parked near Antilia. In that case, the national investigation agency (NIA) has arrested several people including dismissed API Sachin Waze.
The car belonged to a Thane businessman Mansukh Hiran whose body was found in Mumbra creek.
