This week’s Erie-area entertainment is packed with music benefits, a fair, festivals and free outdoor concerts.
The Rock & Rescue Charity Concert with country artist Mitchell Tenpenny benefits the Humane Society’s Shelter to Service program on Aug. 13 at Erie Humane Society, 2407 Zimmerly Road. The Blues for Shoes music benefit is set for the following day, Aug. 14, at Big Bar, 14 E. 10th St. The Breeze Band hosts the event with several other bands appearing to help raise funds to purchase school supplies for youth of the Erie community.
You can grab some pasta or a cannoli or two at the annual St. Paul’s Italian Festival, which runs Aug. 12 through Aug. 14 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1617 Walnut St.
PACApalooza starts Aug. 12 at 1505 State St. The Performing Artists Collective Alliance is celebrating its anniversary with a three-day event that includes theater performances, live music and more.
Fair season is in full swing as the Warren County Fair runs Aug. 9-13, with gates opening at 8 a.m. daily at 371 Barton Run in Pittsfield.
