The UAE has launched a brand new initiative referred to as the Industrialist Programme which is designed to construct native capacities and enhance emiratisation within the industrial sector.
The programme is the results of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT), the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) and the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis).
The Industrialist Programme is a coaching initiative aiming to upskill nationwide cadres and assist them entry expert jobs within the industrial sector.

The MoU was signed by Omar Al Suwaidi, undersecretary of MoIAT; Ahmad Yousuf Ahmad Al Nasser, assistant undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation; and Ghannam Al Mazrouei, secretary-general of Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis).
Omar Al Suwaidi stated MoIAT helps partnerships and cooperation with all authorities businesses and establishments, in addition to the personal sector, via the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology.

These initiatives further enhance the industrial sector’s competitive advantages and enablers, providing opportunities for local and international investors, while empowering national talents and developing capacities and skills,” he stated.
Al Suwaidi famous that the MoU will create new alternatives: “The Industrialist Program will prepare nationwide abilities, offering them with the abilities wanted to thrive in technical and specialised jobs. The programme will align nationwide coaching programmes to satisfy the necessities of factories. It can even mirror the dedication of ICV-certified firms to Emiratisation.”
Supporting Emirati abilities
