On the course: Carded an 84 in the fourth GCC tournament to earn all-conference honors. Also scored 40 and 45 in victories over Lake Catholic and Shaker Heights.

Off the course: Favorite sports memory is breaking 80 for the first time in a tournament. Hobbies include golfing with friends and family, driving around with friends and listening to music. Favorite subjects are math and science. Favorite foods are bagels and cheesecake. Favorite movie is “Remember the Titans.” Enjoys watching “Bones” and “Friends.” Favorite songs are “Suit & Tie” by Justin Timberlake and “T.N.T.” by AC/DC. Favorite golfers are Xander Schauffele and Rory Mcllroy.

On the field: In a 37-0 win over University, was 4-for-4 on extra points and 3-for-3 on field goals (36, 23 and 20). Also scored a goal in a soccer match against Mayfield. For the season in football, is 13-for-13 on extra points and 3-for-3 on field goals. Also has punts of 33 and 31 yards.

Off the field: Chardon resident’s nicknames include “G” and “G-money.” Hopes to be a kicker in college. For his sporting background, says, “I grew up in a very ethnic and sport-oriented family, so I started to play sports at the age of 5.” Likes to play outside and hang out with friends and family. Enjoys listening to country music.

Savannah Dennison

Sophomore

On the course: Won the Riverside Light up the Night meet in an area-best time of 18:23.93, one of the top five times in Division I this season. Helped the Cardinals to a runner-up finish.

Off the course: “Sav’s” favorite sports memories are qualifying for the state meet last year and running 4:58 in the mile. Enjoys hanging out with friends and spending time with her family at their lake house. Favorite school subject is math. Favorite food is ice cream. Enjoys watching horror and action movies. Favorite show is “The Vampire Diaries.” Listens to all varieties of music

Senior>>Running back

On the field: Carried 12 times for 190 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Mayfield. For the season, has 635 rushing yards (an 11.1-yard average) and 11 touchdowns, as well as a touchdown reception.

Off the field: Loves to spend free time riding dirt bikes and hunting. Favorite foods are steak and potatoes. Favorite team is the Pittsburgh Steelers. Favorite professional player is Saquon Barkley.

Paul Wise

VASJ>>Boys golf

Senior

On the course: Led the Vikings to a 3-0 record. Was medalist with a 39 in a victory over Lakewood and Midpark. Carded a 45 in a win over West Geauga and was medalist with an even-par 35 vs. Brush.

Off the course: Euclid resident’s favorite team is the Browns. Favorite sports memory is shooting a 35 in his last-ever high school match, which might be the school record. Favorite subject is English. Favorite food is pizza. Enjoys the music of Morgan Wallen. Favorite movie is “Rocky IV.”

Keaton Hahn

Mentor>>Cross country

Senior

On the course: Ran a lifetime personal record of 16:30.66 at the Riverside Light up the Night meet, helping the Cardinals win the team title. He took sixth overall.

Off the course: Is hoping to attend Purdue University and run for a club team. Also runs track and participates in the Science Olympiad. Enjoys reading and chilling with friends. Favorite food is tomato soup. Favorite show is “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” Enjoys listening to classic rock.

Senior>>WR/RB/S

On the field: In a win over Madison, had three touchdowns — one rushing, one receiving and a 57-yard interception return. Had four carries for 162 yards, two catches for 20 yards.

Off the field: Plans to play football in college, but hasn’t decided on a school yet. Is listed at 6-foot-3, 205 pounds.

West Geauga>>Football

Junior>Quarterback

On the field: Was 8-for-11 passing for 185 yards and three touchdowns, and also ran six times for 114 yards and a score in a win over Edgewood.

Off the field: “Stew’s” favorite sports memory is winning the Super Bowl in Lions Club football with all of the teammates he still plays with. Hobbies include hanging out with friends. Favorite food is pizza. Favorite teams are the Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes.
