The latest issue of our popular monthly local guide is now available — our October 2020 Dining Arts and Entertainment guide (OCB DARTS).

Printed copies are not available because — despite a new “monitoring” system from the State of California — all our usual distribution sites remain closed due to the COVID-19 lockdown — but we encourage you to download your own free printable copy of our October 2020 Dining Arts and Entertainment guide (OCB DARTS).

Help us get the word out in northwest Orange County! | Invest in Orange County Breeze via Patreon | News published continually through the day | Daily Overnight News Summary | Monthly Dining, Arts and Entertainment Guide (DARTS) | AWESOME Community Calendar | ASTOUNDING local historical almanac

Consider signing up to be a DARTS Champion through Patreon. All DARTS Champions will be mailed their copy of our monthly DARTS by first-class USPS as soon as we receive the printed copies from our printer… once we get back to printing the DARTS.

From front cover to back page, all eight pages of our October 2020 Dining Arts and Entertainment guide will help you get through self-quarantine.

The cover illustration is a photo of “Storm at Sea,” an oil painting by Pat Edep. It won “Best Depicition of Life in Orange County” at the Fall (virtual) open art show hosted by Cypress Art League. To view all the entires, visit www.cypressartleague.com.

Page Two reminds you that even COVID-19 can’t block the zombie apocalypse — find out about new drive-through scares at Urban Legends of Southern California!

Page Three contains a longer but still shortened event listing — it takes up the whole page!

Page Four lightens things up with Knott’s Taste of Fall-o-ween plus announcements of the topic and speaker for both the Cypress Chamber of Commerce (virtual) networking breakfast and the Los Alamitos Area Chamber of Commerce (virtual) networking breakfast.

Page Five boasts two articles: the lefthand side about a Titanic exhibit on Catalina; the righthand side about a virtual fundraiser for MADD that continues to page 6.

Page Six reports on the opening of a new rooftop bar, Parkestry, in the JW Marriot Anaheim Resort.

Pages Seven and Eight hold puzzles for the first week of October 2020.

Our day-by-day listing of local events is short because many annual events are canceled, like Haunt at Knott’s Berry Farm. (We’d give thanks if a short DARTS becomes an historical artifact by Thanksgiving! But nobody really knows!) Check our AWESOME Community Calendar online for in-person and virtual local events.

We encourage you to download the October 2020 DARTS and let us know what you think!

Remember us when you have fun!
