Odfjell Technology, a by-product of Odfjell Drilling that specialises in offshore operations, effectively service expertise, and engineering options, has been awarded a two–yr contract extension with Serica Energy.

The extension will see the Oslo-listed participant present storage, preservation, upkeep and platform drilling providers on the Bruce platform within the UK North Sea till November 2025.

Stuart Sutherland, UK nation supervisor for Odfjell Technology, mentioned: “This contract extension demonstrates the continued commitment between our companies in supporting the Bruce platform. Looking forward, we see this as an opportunity for Odfjell Technology to support further operations through the integration of our three business areas, offering streamlined service delivery.”

Odfjell was first contracted for Bruce in November 2018.
