A gang rape survivor in Odisha*s Keonjhar district alleged that she needed to wait in a police van for 12 hours for her medical examination. The incident befell in Anandapur sub-division of the district after a case of gang rape was registered on the Soso police station on Thursday. The 37-year-old girl was taken in a police van to Anandapur sub-divisional hospital on Thursday morning, the place docs refused to undertake her medical examination because the place of incidence of the crime was underneath Salania Community Health Centre space.
