Bengaluru:

A 71-year-old man was dragged by a scooter on a busy highway in Bengaluru in broad daylight on Tuesday, a video confirmed.

The scooter rider, Sahil, had collided with the person’s automobile. As the person, Muttappa, bought off the automobile to confront Sahil, he tried to get away on his scooter. At this level, the aged man lunged and grabbed on to the scooter. The 25-year-old rider didn’t cease, so Muttappa was dragged behind the scooter, the video confirmed.

“The reason is accidental touch between the two wheeler and the Bolero,” stated DCP Laxman Nirbargi.

The man suffered a number of scratches and the scooter rider has been arrested.

The incident comes weeks after the horrific Delhi hit-and-drag case through which a 20-year-old girl was killed when she bought caught below the wheels of a automobile and was dragged for 13 km.
