Rajiv Kapoor, fondly known among friends, family and fans as Chimpu Kapoor, died in February 2021. On what would have been his 60th birthday (August 25), tributes are flowing in for the Ram Teri Ganga Maili star. On the late actor’s birth anniversary, Rajiv Kapoor’s friend, actor Sanjay Kapoor dropped several lovely throwback images. The first of the three photos features Rajiv Kapoor giving Sanjay Kapoor a peck on his cheek. In the second and third photos, the two are also seen with Sanjay Kapoor’s wife Maheep Kapoor. He shared the photos with a moving note: “Happy 60th Chimps, love you and miss you.”

While Maheep Kapoor replied with heart emojis, Rajiv Kapoor’s nephew Aadar Jain responded with folded hand emojis.

On Rajiv Kapoor’s birth anniversary, his sister-in-law, actress Neetu Kapoor too dropped an image of the Kapor siblings – Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor, Ritu Nanda and Rima Jain – on Instagram Stories and wrote, “In remembrance, Rajiv Kapoor.”
