Parliament Budget Session 2023: As continuing resumed at 2 pm, members of the opposition events stormed into the Well of the House, elevating placards and slogans, demanding a JPC probe into the Adani matter.

Budget Session of Parliament Live Updates:  The third day of Parliament witnessed stormy scenes but once more with an deadlock between the opposition and BJP over allegations towards the Adani Group and feedback made by Rahul Gandhi in London. As Lok Sabha proceedings resumed at 2 pm, members of the opposition events stormed into the Well of the House, elevating placards and slogans, demanding a JPC probe into the Adani matter. The BJP on its half hit out at Rahul, stating that he has insulted India and solid aspersion towards the Speaker of the House.

Leading BJP’s cost Union Minister Prahlad Joshi mentioned, “Gandhi’s comments are the height of insult to the Parliament. To go abroad and speak of India like this… India is a sovereign nation, and to seek the intervention of foreign countries is a severe insult to the country.”

Meanwhile, the Opposition’s protest march from the Parliament House to the ED workplace, at hand over their criticism on the Adani problem was stopped by the police this afternoon. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge alleged that the Adani Group has the patronage of the Government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in amassing wealth. “One individual has destroyed the LIC, SBI and other banks. People have deposited their hard-earned money in these institutions with trust. But all their money has been handed over to one person,” he mentioned.
