As police proceed to analyze a spate of robberies that befell throughout Auckland over the week, they’ve a “particular” give attention to the id of one of many alleged offenders.

“Last night there was an increased police presence in the area,” Friend mentioned.

The supervisor of Wapiti Sports Bar in Auckland’s Point Chevalier mentioned his workers had been unable to sleep after intruders broke in and allegedly pointed weapons on the bar employees’ heads.

Friend mentioned police had been persevering with to point out a “no tolerance” angle to crime.

He requested members of the general public to report any crimes going down locally.

“Members of the public can assist us respond to crime by reporting suspicious behaviour in their neighbourhoods and places of work.

“If there may be legal or anti-social behaviour occurring proper now, name 111, or 105 whether it is after the actual fact.”
