Pontiac mayoral candidates Tim Greimel and Alexandria T. Riley will debate less than one month before the Nov. 2 election.

Pontiac United will host the debate, taking place between 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7, at the UWM Sports Complex Auditorium, 867 South Boulevard East in Pontiac. The Pontiac Housing Commission and Oakland Forward are sponsors.

City council and library board candidates will also be present. Doors open at 5 p.m.

The event is open to the public, who must wear masks to enter the auditorium and comply with temperature checks upon entering. All audience questions must be submitted in person or by email to pontiacunited@gmail.com by 5:55 p.m. Oct. 7.
