Pune, tenth May 2023: To draw world consideration in the direction of high quality analysis and new advances in numerous fields of Science, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Faculty of Science, AKI’s Poona College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune, organized a One Day International Conference on the subject “Advances in Science & Technology” by means of blended mode.

Dr. Pankaj Koinkar, Vice Director and Associate Professor from Tokushima University, Japan, was the chief visitor and Keynote Speaker. Dr. Koinkar inaugurated the Conference and delivered the keynote deal with. He spoke on the functions of Nanotechnology. He suggested scientists to work with dedication and perseverance for enhancing the standard of analysis in India and internationally. An Abstract Book was launched and revealed by the organizers. Chairman of the Conference Principal Prof. (Dr.) Aftab Anwar gave the welcome deal with. Vice Principal Dr. Iqbal Shaikh launched the company.

The technical classes have been divided into parallel classes that coated all specializations similar to: Chemical Science, Life Science, Material Science, Earth Science and Mathematical Science. Renowned scientists belonging to prestigious institutes in Ethiopia, China, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Nepal and Taiwan joined by means of Google Meet. They offered motivating talks on present subjects of their respective fields of analysis. Their purpose was to encourage the younger minds and make them conscious of latest avenues in analysis.

Lunch was adopted by Oral Presentations. Delegates, some offline, and the remaining on-line, offered their analysis work by means of efficient PowerPoint shows. Sessions have been interactive whereby the chairpersons shared their views and gave recommendations to enhance analysis.  

This multidisciplinary convention noticed the approaching collectively of nice minds, enthusiastic and younger researchers, interacting and studying from one another! In complete, 192 individuals registered for this International Conference: 2 worldwide, 143 from Maharashtra, 47 from different states of India similar to Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Tripura, Assam and West Bengal. Under-Graduate and Postgraduate college students of the faculty received a chance to fulfill these delegates, work together with them and find out how analysis may be pursued.

The One Day International Conference on Advances in Science and Technology was profitable as a result of efforts of the organizing committee led by Chairman of Conference, Principal Prof. (Dr.) Aftab Anwar Shaikh, Secretary of Conference and IQAC Coordinator, Vice Principal (Science) Dr. Iqbal Shaikh, Convener and Head, Department of Zoology Dr. Mujeeb Shaikh, Co-Conveners Dr. Kalim Shaikh and Dr. Zameer Ahmed. They have been assisted by completely different committees for stage, hospitality, promotion, buy, registration, technical and summary & e book compilation. Each member labored with dedication to make this occasion a grand success.
