Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush is all set to launch in theatres on June 16. On Thursday, the movie acquired a ‘U’ certificates from the censor board. The film’s runtime is roughly 3 hours (179 minutes).
Adipurush, a re-telling of the Hindu epic Ramayana, sees Prabhas as King Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Raghava’s spouse Janaki, and Sunny Singh as his youthful brother Laxman. While Saif Ali Khan essays the position of Ravana within the film, Devdatta Nage might be seen as Hanuman.
On Wednesday night, movie producer Abhishek Agarwal, who has bankrolled films like The Kashmir Files and Karthikeya 2, introduced that he’ll donate 10,000 plus tickets of Adipurush without spending a dime. The tickets could be given to authorities colleges, orphanages and outdated age properties throughout Telangana.

Agarwal mentioned, “This June, let us celebrate the most noble one. Let’s celebrate the Maryada Purushottham. Let’s celebrate Adipurush. Every chapter of Lord Shri Ram is a lesson to mankind. This generation needs to learn about him and follow his divine footsteps. Let’s immerse in an experience like never before.”
During the ultimate trailer launch in Tirupati, director Om Raut requested the producers of Adipurush to maintain a seat empty in each theater as a mark of respect to Lord Hanuman.
“My mom says, every time Ramayan is staged, Hanuman ji comes to watch it. So my request to Bhushan sir, Anil (Thadani, the distributor) sir, that for our Hanuman ji, in every show of Adipurush, one seat should be kept vacant. Everywhere in the world, wherever there is an Adipurush show, I request the producer and distributor to keep one seat for Hanuman ji, he will come to see Ramayan,” Raut mentioned.
