Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has announced the opening of another production line at Montreal-based studio Reflector Entertainment, which it acquired in September 2020. The studio, which is currently developing the August 2020-announced Unknown 9: Awakening, will also develop an existing Bandai Namco intellectual property.

“This is an organic and pre-planned evolution in the development of Reflector Entertainment, which has established itself as a major asset within the [Bandai Namco] group,” said Reflector Entertainment CEO Herve Hoerdt in a press release. “The studio is part of the Bandai Namco family because our values and vision are in total harmony when it comes to entertainment and the future of the industry. We all look forward to seeing what the team will achieve with this new challenge.”

Marc Andre Seguin has also been promoted to general manager of Reflector Entertainment. The leadership team led by Seguin will be responsible for carrying out Reflector Entertainment’s strategic vision.

“I am thrilled to have helped solidify the Talent and Culture team and roadmap over the past few years,” Seguin commented. “We have strengthened several aspects of our team with the goal of preparing the studio for great growth. I am proud to contribute to this culture of collective success that is being established among colleagues and I am very grateful for the trust placed in me by the studio leadership team and Bandai Namco Europe as I look forward to helping propel the studio to the next stage of our business plan.”

Additionally, Christophe Rossignol, who has been working at Reflector Entertainment since its founding, has been promoted to creative director, while Emilie Constantineau has been promoted to Talent and Culture director.

To take on its new production line, Reflector Entertainment will be recruiting a new chief technology officer (CTO) and executive producer, as well as various other roles including level artists, tool programmers, visual effects artists, and technical artists. Job opportunities are available at the studio’s official website.
