Payal Ghosh who starred in the film ‘Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi’ has accused Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of sexual misconduct. Taking to her Twitter handle, the actress she opened up against Kashyap on Saturday evening.

She tagged the Prime Minister of India in her tweet and tweeted, ””@anuragkashyap72 has forced himself on me and extremely badly. @PMOIndia @narendramodi ji, kindly take action and let the country see the demon behind this creative guy. I am aware that it can harm me and my security is at risk. Pls help”.

Ghosh reportedly named celebrities like Huma Qureshi and Richa Chadha, and others, She said Anurag told her that it was okay and all the actresses who worked with him. Now, Richa issued a statement after her name was mentioned in the allegations. Chadha insisted that she feels a genuinely wronged women should get justice at all cost. The statement further mentioned that the ‘Fukrey’ actress will take proper legal actions and continue to pursue her legal rights.

In an interaction with Etimes, Payal claimed, ”The first time I met him was at his office in Aram Nagar, Versova. The second time I met him was at his residence. We spoke in general about films and the film industry. Then he called me again to his house and this time, that is on the third occasion, he tried to force himself upon me. I did not raise an alarm but pleaded with him that he should let me go as I would return again some other time”.
