SLEEPY EYE — Sleepy Eye United retained an ideal document with a 27-0 win over St. James Area on Friday in a Southeast District, South Subdistrict soccer recreation.

The win was a double celebration for SEU as a result of it was Homecoming for St. Mary’s. It additionally units up a freeway 14-battle towards undefeated Springfield, who dominated Wabasso 53-20 on Friday. The groups play in Sleepy Eye subsequent Friday.

Caden Evers had 165 yards passing and three touchdowns for United, whereas Cody Schultz had 67 yards dashing dashing and a landing. Talan Helget had 68 yards receiving with a landing

Caden Evers threw a 28-yard landing move to Austin Uecker on the 7:59 mark of the second quarter for SEU. Mark Anderson’s kick made it 7-0. With 49.9 seconds left, Evers tossed a 24-yard landing move to Talan Helget. SJA blocked Anderson’s kick for the additional level and it was 13-0 SEU at halftime.

On fourth down and with 20 yards wanted for a primary down, Evers handed the ball to Kameron Kosak for a 25-yard acquire and the primary down. On the subsequent play, with 10:12 left within the fourth quarter, Evers dealt with the ball off to Cody Schultz, who ran for a 3-yard landing. Evers handed the ball to Jon Petermann who scored for 2 additional factors. The rating was 21-0 SEU.

Evers tossed a 3-yard landing strike to Austin Uecker with 3:41 left within the contest. Anderson’s kick was blocked for the 27-0 remaining rating.
