As many as sixteen flights to and from New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport have been affected after rain lashed elements of the nationwide capital on Monday night. Flights to and from Mumbai are additionally impacted because of unhealthy climate and air site visitors congestion.

Vistara’s Guwahati-Delhi Flight (UK742) and 9 different flights have been diverted to Jaipur, three to Lucknow, two to Amritsar and one to Ahmedabad airport.

“We are going through ATC congestion at Delhi (DEL) because of unhealthy climate. All departures/arrivals and their consequential flights may be affected. Passengers are requested to maintain a verify on their flight standing,” an announcement by SpiceJet learn.
