Siliguri: The Siliguri Institute of Technology (SIT), a reputation synonymous with excellence in high quality training, has come a great distance from its modest inception to the grand celebration of its Silver Jubilee. To have fun the fantastic journey, SIT has organised a three-day-long programme on the institute campus in Sukna Salbari.

The celebration flagged off with a procession together with tableaus on Sunday from Baghajatin Park and ended on the SIT campus. It is a testomony of its imaginative and prescient, dedication and unwavering dedication in direction of fostering educational development and holistic improvement. Around 350 to 400 college students from completely different departments of the institute, together with administration, engineering participated within the rally.

The journey of SIT was depicted by means of tableaus within the procession. After the rally, a cricket event — SRC Challengers Cup — was held on the campus.
