Renewable energies are at the core of these technological trainings, which are aimed at young people who wish to become specialised technicians.

Quentin Ghysens has been teaching at the Junglinster high school for five years after having studied mechanical engineering in Darmstadt (DE) and Kirchberg. Together with another teacher, he has created a mew technology course.

‘Smart Technologies’ offer vocational training for all young people who wish to specialise in the field of renewable energy, where all aspects of this technology are covered.

This training is offered in five high schools, including Junglinster. It starts in the fourth year, and specialisations will be offered in the second year of the course. Students will either continue their studies, or get a contract in the professional world.

This training is also offered at the Lycée des Arts et Métiers, the Lycée Guillaume Kroll in Esch-sur-Alzette, the Lycée Émile Metz and the Lycée Technique in Ettelbruck.
