Snap is set to premiere a number of original docuseries in 2021 from producers such as Big Fish Entertainment, Trooper Entertainment and ITV America’s Sirens Media.
Slated for 2021, Honestly Loren from Sirens Media (Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Snap’s forthcoming Nikita Dragun: Exposed) follows social media personality Loren Gray as she navigates love, friendship and her career.
From Trooper Entertainment (E!’s Model Squad, OWN’s Checked Inn), the docuseries Life’s a Tripp follows rapper Trippie Redd (pictured) who, after casting his first-ever vote in the U.S. election, journeys to experience major issues gripping the country, from drug addiction to police reform, with the help of fellow celebrity friends.
Life’s a Tripp will premiere in 2021.
Also set for next year, the docuseries Swae Meets World from Big Fish Entertainment (VH1′s Black Ink Crew, Amazon’s Regular Heroes) follows rapper Swae Lee as he prepares to launch his first solo album.
The shows join recently premiered Snap Originals including The Solution Committee from Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s Westbrook Media (Snap’s Will From Home) and three-part voter education mini-series Good Luck Voter!, produced in-house by Snap.
From Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud production outfit, Snap will also premiere the previously announced series Coach Kev on Saturday (Oct. 10). The series will see Hart draw on his own experiences to offer daily doses of positivity and wisdom.
The social media and technology company has released more than 100 original series – from unscripted titles such as Nikita Unfiltered to docuseries including Endless — with dozens more in development.
