• NJPAC presents virtual Sounds of the City with DJ Kiss and DJ M.O.S. spinning all your favorites on Thursday, August 27 at 7 pm.
• Country Sway’s Summer Sway Streamathon, from August 27–30, features more than 40 artist performances, and  benefits the Music Health Alliance. Artists set to perform include Brandon Alan, Tim Atwood, David Adam Byrnes, Cadie Calhoun, Brian Callihan, Simon Casey, Lauren Davidson, Hayden Haddock and many others, with more to come.
• On Friday, August 28 at 7 pm, join Newark Museum for A Virtual Evening of Jazz with Mimi Jones & Luis Perdomo
• Enjoy the Jazz House Kids Friday Night Listening Party on Friday, August 28 at 8 pm

• Enjoy a concert by Dead On Live at the BergenPAC Sunset Drive-in Concert Series on Saturday, August 29 at 7 pm. With their unique approach of recreating all instruments, as well as the lush and complex vocal harmonies heard on the classic recordings of the 1970’s, Dead On Live has quickly become recognized as one of the top tribute acts around.

Art, Literature, & History

• Join Montclair Art Museum’s online artist series MAM Conversations on Thursday, August 27 at 6 pm as we visit Cara Romero’s New Mexico studio to talk about her unique perspective and new projects.Romero’s dramatic photographs blend traditions, mysticism, and spirituality with the often-difficult realities of contemporary Native American life. Using photography as a tool, Romero highlights the diversity and resilience of a thriving Indigenous culture.
