Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday mentioned that just a few extra political events are more likely to be a part of the opposition’s newly fashioned Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) throughout its upcoming third joint assembly in Mumbai.

While talking to reporters, Kumar mentioned, “We will discuss the INDIA bloc’s strategies for next year’s general elections during the upcoming meeting in Mumbai. Issues such as seat-sharing will be discussed and several other agendas will be finalised. A few more political parties will join our coalition.”

“I wish to unite the maximum number of parties before the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. I am working in that direction. I have no desire for myself,” he added. The JD(U) chief, nevertheless, didn’t reveal the names of the possible entrants within the alliance.

Additionally, Congress spokesperson Alok Sharma on Sunday claimed that 4 to 5 events among the many 38 events that had attended the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) are in contact with the bloc and a few of them will be a part of them within the upcoming meet.

Meanwhile, former Maharashtra CM Ashok Chavan mentioned that round 26-27 opposition events are anticipated to to take part within the third joint assembly of the bloc in Mumbai on August 31 and September 1.
