Pixomondo, which is thought for its work on premium content material together with Sony Pictures Television’s The Boys, in addition to Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, and the upcoming Avatar: The Last Airbender, maintains three LED sound levels and 7 places of work within the US, UK, Germany, and Canada.

Mayfair invested in Pixomondo in July 2018 to help the transformation of the Company from a post-production VFX supplier to a tech-enabled manufacturing companies enterprise with built-in workflows.

Mayfair helped fund the enlargement of its VFX group, and offered further funding to fund the event of Pixomondo’s digital manufacturing capabilities and LED Stages.

The acquisition of Pixomondo, alongside Sony Pictures Imageworks and Sony Innovation Studios, enhances Sony’s presence within the digital manufacturing house and provides to its visible results capabilities for TV and movie.

The deal comes on the heels of Sony Innovation Studios unveiling its first LED sound stage on the Sony Pictures Studios lot in Culver City, earlier this month.
